  • How does the hotel daily rate work?

    A hotel night is counted from 3pm on the first day until 12pm on the next day.

  • How does hotel check-in work?

    Check-in is the time when the guest can enter their apartment. In other words: the moment when the daily rate begins. With early check-in, guests can check in earlier. That is: before 3pm. Early check in depends on hotel availability and therefore must be consulted in advance. This option also has an extra cost that must be paid directly at the hotel.
  • How does hotel check-out work?

    Check-out is the time the daily rate ends, in our hotels the check-out time is 12pm. There is also the option of late check out, where the guest can leave the hotel a few hours late. Late check out depends on hotel availability and therefore must be consulted in advance. This option also has an extra cost that must be paid directly at the hotel.
  • Are the hotels pet friendly?

    The hotels in the Othon chain are completely pet friendly. This means that traveling with your pet is guaranteed comfort and hospitality in our hotels. We've thought of everything to make your best friend's stay as comfortable as possible! We have developed some personalized items, we have a different cleaning service for rooms with animals and, therefore, an extra fee is charged for the animals' stay. The rate is R$150.00 + taxes per day at Rio Othon Palace At Savoy Othon Lite, PET accommodation has a daily rate of R$100.00 + 15% taxes, PET CARE - We have rooms specially prepared to receive our 4-legged friends. - We offer a drinking bowl, a feeding bowl, a hygienic mat and a bed. - We accept animals up to 34 kg for the pet's greater comfort. *According to the Health Surveillance rule, pets will not be allowed in areas where food is available, such as swimming pools, bars, lobby bars and restaurants. Additionally, animals are not allowed in gyms and spas.
  • How do I cancel a reservation?

    Reservation cancellations must be made directly with our reservations center by email: reservas@othon.com.br or by phone: 55 21 2106-0200. Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours before check-in, except when the rate is non-refundable. If your reservation was not made directly through our website or center, cancellations must be made directly through the channel used.
  • How do I make my reservation online?

    To make your reservation at one of our hotels, you must access: www.othon.com.br, choose the hotel, the period, the category and complete the payment.

  • What payment methods are accepted?

    The payment methods accepted at Othon Hotels are: cash, bank deposit, PIX, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Dinners Club, American Express and Elo).

  • Up to what age do children stay free at hotels?

    In our hotels we have a policy of not charging daily rates for 1 (one) child per room up to 12 years old.

  • Is there room service in hotels?

    Yes, all Othon hotels have room service. Check out the opening hours below: • Rio Othon Palace: 24-hour room service • Savoy Othon Lite: room service until 11 pm.
  • Do hotels have accessible rooms?

    Yes, all hotels in the Othon chain have accessibility to better serve their guests.

  • Is breakfast included in the daily rate?

    Yes, breakfast is included in the daily rate at all hotels! At Rio Othon Palace we have two types of breakfast. Bossa: served on the third floor of the hotel, overlooking the sea, with several food and drink stations, an espresso machine and vegetarian options. Skylab: served on the 30th floor of the Rio Othon Palace, with the highest view of Copacabana, breakfast is available to guests in the Super Luxury, Junior Suite, Executive Suite Ocean Front, Executive Suite Luxury Ocean Front and Executive Suite Super Luxury Ocean Front categories. There are a la carte options and also a buffet with cold cuts, fine cheeses and sparkling wine.
